Founders

Founded in 2023 by former National Champions Jacques Joubert ('95) and Colby Cohen (11'), The Scarlett Commonwealth Foundation emerged as a visionary force dedicated to advancing Boston University Hockey through a Collective Foundation framework. For Jacques and Colby, this endeavor represents not only a means to support the student-athletes within the program but also an opportunity to make a positive impact on the wider Boston community.

The driving force behind this foundation extends beyond Jacques and Colby, as they are joined by fellow Terrier Dan Ronan ('99) who oversees the financial side of the foundation, esteemed agent and attorney Ian Greengross, and Stanley Cup Champion Kevin Shattenkirk ('11), who share their passion and commitment to BU hockey. Ian Greengross (91') lends his legal expertise to oversee the foundation's legal affairs while Kevin Shattenkirk is an inaugural board member and advisor to the collective.
